Benefits/Payroll Admin

Mid-Ohio Valley Employment is looking for someone to assist the administration of employee benefits and payroll processing. This employee, when needed, will also provide guidance and assistance to all locations regarding various employee benefit plans and payroll policies. This employee will also handle specific benefits and payroll tasks as assigned and will provide support and backup to the Benefits Coordinator and Payroll Manager. 

Job Duties:

  • Handle benefit inquiries and concerns to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution
  • Assist with data entry with regard to benefit changes
  • Assist Benefits Coordinator with the installation of approved new plans and changes
  • Assist in the communication and administration of employee benefit as needed
  • Work with designated insurance broker, wellness partner, and Benefits Coordinator to oversee company wellness program
  • Process bank HAS contribution to employee accounts
  • Process payroll, including relating reporting, on a relief basis
  • Prepare multiple worksite quarterly reports and Department of Labor monthly reports
  • Answer associate inquiries concerning Time and Attendance and payroll issues
  • Create and process reports in ADP as needed
  • Review payroll batches as assigned
  • Complete special projects as assigned by Manager

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2-3 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to research and analyze various types of data
