- Spread, level, and smooth concrete using a rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, or hand or power screed, and float
- Direct the casting of the concrete and supervise laborers who use shovels or special tools to spread it
- Provide rough concrete surface, using broom
- Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate pouring concrete, and move chute to direct concrete to forms

- Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
- Mix, pour, or spread concrete using portable cement mixers
- Position or dismantle forms for pouring concrete, using saws, hammers, nails or bolts
- Position, join, align, or seal structural components, such as concrete wall sections or pipes
- Tend machines that pump concrete, grout, cement, sand, plaster, or stucco through spray guns for application to ceilings of walls
- Communicating with foreman, peers or subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person
- Preforming general physical activities – activities require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
- Handling and moving objects – using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials and manipulating things

- Monitors all production and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Trouble shoots equipment and processing issues
- Weighing ingredients to meet recipe specification and loads into machinery, or ensures the correct ingredients are delivered to the work area and loads pre-blended materials into machinery

Mid-Ohio Valley Employment is partnering with an industrial service company engaging in vacuum, high pressure water blasting and pipe cleaning work and CDL drivers (all CDL drivers must be able to perform laborer job duties). The work is done off site at power plants, steel mills, cement plants, etc. The working conditions change often. This position may require you to work any shift, may require an overnight assignment and traveling. It is mandatory for all employees to have a telephone at their place of residence. All employees will be trained and certified asbestos workers after completion of your 400-hour probationary periods. The job assignments require hearing, eyesight, the use of hands, arms, and legs, standing for extended periods of time, bending, stooping, crawling, and climbing. Applicants must not have a fear of working at heights or in possible extremes in temperature or humidity. You will be required to wear eye and ear protective devices and protective clothing. Employees will also be required to wear respirators while working in dusty conditions.

- Must pass a pulmonary function test
